In a remarkable achievement, Australia's legendary batter Steve Smith broke Sachin Tendulkar's illustrious record following his sensational century in the ongoing fourth Test at Melbourne Cricket Ground. Batting at number four, Smith struck a magnificent century, helping Australia claim the driving seat in the all-important clash at the historic venue.
