On Thursday, September 11, Bangladesh and Hong Kong are all set to lock horns against each other in the third match of Asia Cup 2025. The Tigers will kickstart their campaign today at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium while Hong Kong are fresh off a defeat against Afghanistan at the same venue.

At the toss, Bangladesh won the coin flip and the Litton Das-led side have decided to field first against Hong Kong. 

Talking about the teams, then Hong Kong have gone ahead with the same playing XI despite a defeat in the first match, whereas Bangladesh have opted for three seamers and two spinners.

Litton Das: "We will bowl first. Obviously, this is our first game. We don't know how the pitch will behave. In the last three series, we have played good cricket. But these are new conditions and we have to bring out our A game. We are going with three seamers and two spinners and six batters."

Yasim Murtaza (Hong Kong Captain): "We would have batted first. We get what we want. There were a few mistakes with our batters, if we don't repeat them we will get to a big total. We are playing the same team. Whatever happened is in the past, it's a new day today and we are looking forward to it."
