Harsha: "It's a beautiful warm morning here at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium. The temperature is 32 degrees Celsius. There is a strong breeze flowing across the ground at 17 kmph. If you are hitting with the wind, you have to clear the 67m boundary square of the wicket. There is a 61m boundary to the other side. I have with me Sunil Gavaskar. What do you make of this pitch?"

Gavaskar: "This is the pitch that the batters will love to bat on. There may be some turn for the wrist spinners but not much for the finger spinners. A good opportunity for the Indian batters to spend some valuable time in the middle if they bat first. I feel teams should get past 180 at least as it is a good batting surface. Win the toss and chase because it will give a better idea of what total we are after."

IND vs BAN: Captain's Thoughts

Rohit Sharma (India Captain): "We wanted to bat first. That is what we have got now. We need to put good runs on the board. Looks like a good pitch. Looks nice and hard. It depends on how much the sun is beating down and making the pitch slow. We are playing the same team. Important game for us."

Najmul Hossain Shanto (Bangladesh Captain): "I would like to bowl first. Try to restrict them to a low total and chase it down. A good opportunity for us to play here. We have played good cricket so far. We know the conditions here. Hopefully, we will put up a good show today. Looks a very good wicket. I feel 150-160 will be a good total to chase here. We have made one change. Taskin is out and Jaker Ali comes in."
