In the first match of the Group A of ICC T20 World Cup qualifiers, West Indies and Scotland will be taking on each other. The times will look to begin their campaign on a strong note in order to have an added advantage of making it to the Super 12 stage of the tournament. 

It is disheartening to see West Indies, the two time T20 World Champions playing the qualification round. But off late the team chemistry has just not worked for them. On the other hand, Scotland is coming into the tournament with a decent form behind them and will try and pull up an upset like Namibia did in the opening clash of the tournament.

West Indies on the papers looks like a much stronger team than Scotland. Players like George Munsey, Richie Berrington, Calum MacLeod might test the Caribbeans but, West Indies with a much more balanced team composition should emerge victorious in this match.
