Ahead of their blockbuster World Cup clash against India on Sunday, South Africa's pace spearhead, Anrich Nortje, has stated that the battle will be between India's top-order up against 'one of the best pace attacks' in the world.

India will take on South Africa in their third game of the tournament and a win here will almost seal their place in the semi-finals.

But Nortje reckons it won't be an easy task for the Indian batters as South Africa have a lot of variety in their attack.

"Yes, the match-up is between India's top-order and South Africa's pace attack. We are prepared and we see ourselves as the best pace attack in the world. We have a lot of variety, we cover a lot of aspects, a lot of bases with our pace, and the boys are looking forward for tomorrow," Nortje said.

Nortje also opined on the surface that awaits them

"On Pitches like this, you have to time your bouncers properly and not get carried away. Sometimes it can look nice, but not effective really. Try to be as effective as possible and keep your emotions in check."

South Africa is heading into this game on the back of a stellar 104-run victory against Bangladesh. They'll be looking to continue the momentum against a strong Indian side.
