Riding on a scintillating century from Rilee Rossouw and a superb collective bowling effort, South Africa annihilated Bangladesh by 104 runs in the tenth Super 12 encounter of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Sydney.
Rossouw and De Kock power South Africa to a mammoth total
After opting to bat first, South Africa suffered an early setback, losing skipper Temba Bavuma in the first over. But Bavuma's dismissal proved to be a boon for them, as Rilee Rossouw and Quinton de Kock hammered the Bangladesh bowlers to stitch a match-winning stand of 168 runs for the second wicket.

Continuing his exquisite touch, de Kock played a brilliant 63-run knock with seven fours and three sixes. On the other hand, Rossouw blasted his way through to a fabulous 56-ball 109 before being undone by Shakib Al Hasan in the 19th over.
After his departure, South Africa slowed down a bit, but still managed to cross the 200-run mark, finishing on 205 for five in 20 overs.
Shakib was Bangladesh's most successful bowler, scalping two wickets for 33 runs.

Although Najmul Hossain Shanto and Soumya Sarkar raced to 26 in no time, a collapse was triggered with the arrival of Anrich Nortje, who removed both the openers inside his first four deliveries.

Skipper Shakib Al Hasan also had no answers to Nortje's searing pace, as he departed for only one run in the fifth over. Bangladesh's ship sank further when Kagiso Rabada dismissed the dangerous Afif Hossain in his second over.
Although Litton Das put up a fight with a gritty 31-ball 34, the Tigers couldn't recover from these early blows and were eventually bundled out for 101 runs.
