T20 World Cup 2022: Moments of Day 4

On the fourth day of the Super 12 of T20 World Cup 2022, Australia and Sri Lanka went against each other. It was the only match of the day. 

Australia won the toss and opted to field first in the match. Even though Sri Lanka lost a wicket early, they made a steady progress. Pathum Nissanka (40 off 45) played a gutsy knock to lay the foundation for the team. Although wickets kept falling Charith Asalanka played a birlliant little cameo of 38 runs from 25 balls to take Sri Lanka to 157 for 6 in 20 overs. 

During the chase Sri Lanka tried to make it tough for the defending champions. But Marcus Stoinis came out a brilliant little cameo at number 5 to take Australia home. Australia won by 7 wickets with 21 balls remaining in the match.
