Mumbai Bounces Back: First Win of the Season After Two Losses

Mumbai Indians finally registered their first win of the season with a dominant performance against Kolkata Knight Riders. Debutant Ashwani Kumar was the star with the ball as he dismantled KKR’s batting lineup with a sensational 4-fer and helped MI to restrict them to a modest total of 116.

His brilliant first day in the office ensured Mumbai Indians had an easy target to chase. In response, Mumbai chased down the target without breaking any sweat with Ryan Rickelton being the major contributor at the top, laying the foundation for a comfortable chase. Meanwhile, Suryakumar Yadav scored a quick 23 off 9 balls to finish things off in style.
