It was a horrible start for the Delhi Capitals (DC) against SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) as they lost Phil Salt in the very first over courtesy of a Bhuvneshwar Kumar inswinger. Earlier. Delhi decided to drop Prithvi Shaw in place of Salt but the decision didn't paid any dividends.

In came Mitchell Marsh, who took on Marco Jansen in the second over with four fours to give his an accelerated start. Meanwhile, skipper David Warner at the other end was playing safely to hold one end.

However, even Marsh departed after scoring 25 to T Natarajan on an appeal that was turned down by the umpire but ultimately, review was taken which led to him walking back to the pavilion.

A few overs later, even Warner lost his wicket causing trouble in the camp as one followed another with three wickets falling in the Washington Sundar's over and score being 62 for 5.

Manish Pandey and Axar Patel played solidly together to keep their side in the game with both of them managing 34 each after their name in the 69 partnership for sixth wicket.

They again were in problem after this as runs dried in the end as they were only able to manage 144 with nine wickets down.

Sundar bagged three whereas Bhuvneshwar bowled with figures of 11 for 2 in his four overs.
