The wait is over as the Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on the Royal Challengers Bangalore in match 65 of the Indian Premier League.

Both the Southern sides have had different fortunes in the tournament so far. While the Royal Challengers are challenging for a place in the playoffs, Sunrisers are already eliminated and will play as a party spoiler for the other sides.

With nothing to lose, SRH have handed a debut cap to the teenage all-rounder Nitish Reddy.

SRH vs RCB: Toss Update

RCB won the toss and Faf du Plessis had no hesitation in electing to bowl first.

With a win needed to boost their playoff chances, Faf was happy to bowl first and have a set target in front of his batters. He reckons that there was some dew last night and the ball might skid as the game progresses. Interestingly RCB are going in with the same squad that featured against the Rajasthan Royals.

Talking about SRH, Aiden Markram stated that he is not too disappointed about losing the toss. Markram stressed that with the kind of bowling lineup they have, any target can be defended. After missing out on the last few matches, Harry Brook makes his return into the squad.
