Shubman's Class And Miller's Flurry Take Gujarat to 177

Winning the toss and opting to bowl first, Rajasthan Royals (RR) dismissed Gujarat Titans' (GT) opener Wriddhiman Saha early on in the first over, courtesy of Trent Boult who bowled and even caught the after an attempt by three of his mates.

Joined in by Sai Sudarshan, Shubman Gill continued to display his class as he batted till the fifteenth over facing 34 balls to hit one six and four fours.

Meanwhile, Sudarshan was rotating the strike well until he got dismissed by the end of the fifth over. Later, skipper Hardik Pandya was quick to score runs as with one maximum and three fours, he reached 28 from 19 balls.

GT were 121 for four by the time Gill got out, looking to accelerate, Proteas big hitter David Miller put the foot on the peddle at the right time striking boundaries whenever needed.

He was very well accompanied by Abhinav Manohar in the death who banged three sixes whereas Miller was magnificent with his two sixes as he managed 46 runs.

In the end, they could manage 177 on the board by the loss of seven wickets. On the bowling front, last game's hero Sandeep Sharma was again superb as he recorded figures of 2 for 25 by the end of four overs.

Whereas Trent Boult, Adam Zampa and Yuzvendra Chahal chipped in with one wicket each, with the latter claiming the purple cap with 12 wickets to his name in the tournament so far.
