The big final of IPL 2025 between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru is off to an interesting start. Punjab Kings won the toss, and decided to field first. RCB needed a fast start and Phil Salt came out all guns blazing, hitting Arshdeep Singh all over the park.

However, Kyle Jamieson got the better of the dangerous English batter on the fourth ball of the second over. It was a fullish delivery around off and Phil Salt went for a big hit down the ground. However, he mistimed it, and the ball went high in the air. Shreyas Iyer, the skipper of Punjab Kings was ready for it, and took the catch safely. He was pumped up after taking the catch and brought out an aggressive celebration, showing everyone that he and his team means business.

The wicket was a big, big one for Punjab Kings as Salt has the ability to take the game away from the opposition with his aggressive batting. After his dismissal, RCB struggled to up the ante and Punjab Kings got things back in control.

Mayank Agarwal played some good shots, but with Kohli not being able to find his touch at the other end, departed in the seventh over while trying to play a big shot. Both the teams are searching for  their first IPL title, and have played good cricket throughout the season. Thus, it would be interesting to see who comes out on top in a high-pressure final.
