The 2nd Qualifier of the SA20 2024 will be played between Durban Super Giants and Joburg Super Kings on Thursday, February 8 at The Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg.

Durban Super Giants
The Durban Super Giants, who were on fire during the league stage of SA20, totally dropped the ball when it counted, getting trounced by 51 runs by the defending champions, Sunrisers Eastern Cape in the first qualifier.
Their bowlers put in a solid effort, holding the Eastern Cape to a mere 157 runs. But once the rain came and messed things up, it played right into Sunrisers Eastern Cape's hands, making bowling a cakewalk and batting a nightmare for the Super Giants.
Chasing 158, none of the Super Giants could find their groove against Sunrisers Eastern Cape's tight bowling attack. They ended up getting bowled out for just 106 runs in 19.3 overs. This match is definitely one the Super Giants will want to erase from memory ASAP.
Going into this game, they have been given a second chance to make it to the final and settle the score after that embarrassing defeat by Sunrisers Eastern Cape. But it's not going to be a breeze taking on the Men in Yellow.
Joburg Super Kings
On the other hand, reflecting on the Joburg Super Kings' journey in the tournament, no one saw them making it to the playoffs. But two rain-affected matches handed them some easy points, pushing them into the playoffs with a fourth-place finish.
However, they have finally caught fire when it counts, taking down the Paarl Royals in the eliminator. It was a one-sided affair, as the Super Kings bowled them out for just 138 runs and then chased down the target in just 13.2 overs and one wicket in hand.
The Joburg Super Kings' biggest relief right now must be their captain's return to form. Faf du Plessis, who seemed out of sorts during the group stage, has been on fire in the last two crucial games, both of which were must-wins for the Super Kings.
The Faf du Plessis-led side are riding high on momentum and they are dead set on keeping that train rolling by toppling the Durban Super Giants, just like they did last time. But it's going be a tough challenge. All in all, it's set to be a nail-biting contest.
