The 3rd and the final ODI between hosts South Africa and the Netherlands will take place at the iconic Wanderers Stadium in Johannesburg on Sunday, April 02.
Three-wicket hauls from Sisanda Magala (3/37 in 8) and Tabraiz Shamsi (3/25 in 10) helped the South Africans restrict the Dutch to 189/10 in thr 47th over in the previous fixture.
The target was eventually chased down by the home side thanks to thier skipper Temba Bavuma, who continued his good form to cream an unbeaten 79-ball 90* to help his team claim valuable 10 ODI Super League points.
Courtesy of the 8-wicket win, South Africa have now moved to 88 points in the ongoing Super League. They are now tied with the West Indies, and if they claim another victory on Sunday, then they will earn an automatic spot for the upcoming 2023 World Cup in India.
The Netherlands, on the other hand, will be looking to inflict another upset win and spoil South Africa's party, much like they did in November last year at the T20 World Cup.
The visitors started off really well in the last game as their openers-led by Vikramjit Singh (45 off 53) got them off to a 50+ start, but apart from Teja Nidamanuru (48 off 71), none of the middle order batters could build on it, something they'd hope to do in the upcoming match.
