Lucknow SuperGiants failed to secure a crucial breakthrough during their game with Kolkata Knight Riders as they missed a big run-out opportunity and break the brewing partnership between Sunil Narine and Angrish Raghuvanshi. 

Yash Thakur bowled a full length delivery on the off-stump line, Raghuvanshi flicked it to the left region around the mid wicket and looked desperate to get a single off of it as he was almost half way through the pitch, but Narine was not in agreement of taking a run and held firm on the other end. 

Devdutt Padikkal, who hasn't had a stunning season so far, did indeed throw a stunner towards the strikers end but missed and then captain KL Rahul failed to collect it and crashed into the stumps. 

Although there was a big mix-up in the middle however, KKR survived the tiny scare and what went further was much more costly for LSG as both Angrish and Narine smacked two massive maximums off of Yash Thakur, boosting the total further.

Tensions are rising for Lucknow as they must break this partnership in order to avoid further destruction. At the time of writing, Shreyas Iyer's Knights are at 129/1.
