Rinku Singh walked out to bat at number five with three wickets down for 73 in the 10th over. He was pretty sedate against spinners, but unleashed his power against the fast bowlers. The cricketer hit 46 runs off 21 balls he faced from pacers and even went after Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
He scored 63 per cent of his runs in boundaries, which included three fours and four clean hits into the crowd. His innings boosted Meerut Mavericks' score in the middle over, and by the time he departed in the 18th over, the score was already 167.
Thus, Rinku Singh is looking in his groove ahead of Asia Cup 2025 and would be looking to continue the good work in the upcoming matches. Along with Rinku Singh, Swastik Chikara, and Rituraj Sharma also smashed fifties.
