Royal Challengers Bangalore have had a topsy-turvy campaign in the IPL 2023. There have been some exceptional highs sandwiched between some unbelievable lows. Their batting has been over-reliable on their top three- Faf du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell, with occasional brilliance from the middle order. 

On a similar note, their bowling unit has been patchy regarding its performance. Although Mohammed Siraj has been exceptional, the other bowlers have blown hot and cold, especially in the death overs. 

All in all, they haven't really fired as a unit this season and would like to do so to overcome the Titans' challenge.

On the contrary, Gujarat Titans have been prolific, with both bat and ball, in the IPL 2023. While the likes of Shubman Gill, Vijay Shankar and B Sai Sudharsan have starred with the bat, Mohammed Shami and Rashid Khan have weaved their magic with the ball. 

Furthermore, David Miller and Rashid Khan have been stupendous finishers towards the backend of the innings, making the Titans arguably unbeatable. 

Therefore, the defending champions will start as clear favourites in this match and RCB must play out of their skins to win this match.
