On Monday, April 21, Kolkata Knight Riders hosted Gujarat Titans at the Eden Gardens. The hosts won the toss and opted to field first. The defending champions made a couple of changes in the playing XI, and the most noticeable change was replacing Quinton de Kock with Rahmanullah Gurbaz.
