In a significant development, Pakistan's white-ball vice-captain Salman Ali Agha has dropped massive hint of possible selection of two PSL stars for Pakistan's T20I squad. Notably, the PSL is underway and the matches are in full-swing. Meanwhile, Agha, who is representing Islamabad United, has namedropped Sahibzada Farhan and Hasan Ali as the two players who have impressed him the most in the ongoing season.

Speaking to a local news channel, Salman Agha revealed that he is also playing the role of a scout in the ongoing PSL and is keeping a keen eye on players who are doing well in the tournament.

Agha Salman Heaps Praise On Hasan Ali, Farhan

“I’m keeping a close eye on the form and fitness of players who may go on to represent Pakistan or whom I may have to lead one day. It’s still early in the tournament — each team has only played two or three games so far. But once we’re seven or eight matches in, we’ll have a clearer picture of who is performing consistently. The way Hasan is bowling and the form Farhan is showing — they will definitely be on the radar," Agha remarked.

Notably, Hasan, who last featured for Pakistan in May 2024, is breathing fire in PSL 2025 as he has taken 10 wickets in just four matches. On the other hand, Farhan has equalled Virat Kohli's record as he has four T20 centuries in 2025.

Pakistan cricket is at an all-time low as they suffered an embarrassing defeat against New Zealand away from home and changes are expected in the squad going forward as the Men in Green have a three-match T20I series against West Indies starting from July 31.
