Karachi Kings will square off against Peshawar Zalmi in the second match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2023 on Tuesday, February 14 at National Bank Cricket Arena, Karachi.

Both teams underwent a major overhaul prior to the tournament. Babar Azam, who was previously the captain of Karachi Kings, will now face them as the skipper of Peshawar Zalmi.

In addition to Babar Azam, Wahab Riaz, Tom Kohler Cadmore, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Rovman Powell, and Mujeeb Ur Rehman are some other international stars to keep an eye on in Zalmi's camp.

As for Karachi Kings,, Imad Wasim has returned as their captain. He previously guided the team to their maiden title in 2020 and has a strong track record as a captain. While the Kings have a solid roster, some of their players will be out for the start of the competition.

Their premiere pacer, Mohammad Amir, will spearhead the pace attack for the team, while Imran Tahir and Tabraiz Shamsi will lead the spin department. Shoaib Malik will anchor the middle order for them. All in all, a cracking T20 game beckons at Karachi.
