The battle arrives in the National Stadium, Karachi where Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans will battle it out in match number 14 of the Pakistan Super League 2023.

The match holds significance to both these sides considering the race to playoffs has heated up with teams trying their best to seal their spots.

Team Preview: Karachi Kings

After playing five of their games, Karachi won just one giving them two points which keep them in fifth position. They have had a terrible start to the tournament as they couldn't do well against Peshawar, Islamabad and Quetta in the first three games.

However, in their fourth match, they got better off Lahore Qalandars after triumphing by a margin of 67 runs. But even in their fifth game, they had to taste defeat at the hands of Multan by just 3 runs.

Imad Wasim and Shoaib Malik are the prime players on which Karachi could rely as they are key performers for them.

Team Preview: Multan Sultans

The Multan-based side have won four out of their five games, losing just one as they are placed on top of the table.

After getting defeated in their first game by a bare margin of one margin, the Sultans fought back hard to control the proceedings as they formed a four-match winning streak.

The top performers are expected to be Mohammad Rizwan with the bat and more importantly, the rise of pacer Ihsanullah has done wonders for them as he has clocked speeds of over 150 more often.
