MI vs LSG: Captains' Thought
Hardik Pandya (Mumbai Indians Captain): "Obviously, we were planning to bowl. But looking at the heat, we don't mind batting first. It's just a mindset. What we have spoken in the group is that as children, we have enjoyed playing in this heat. It's about hydrating and using the energy in the right way."
Rishabh Pant (Lucknow Super Giants Captain): "It is a day game. We want to make use of the slightly drier conditions under the sun. It will get better for batting during the second innings. We are in a good space, and personally, it is easier to put the team ahead, which makes it easier. Definitely, it feels good. Personally, I don't think about it too much. We are taking every day as a new day."
