In the ongoing 26th match of the IPL 2025 season between Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), Sai Sudharsan once again proved why he’s one of the most consistent young batters in the tournament. 

LSG won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. GT responded strongly, with Sai Sudharsan anchoring the innings brilliantly alongsid skipper Shubman Gill.

Sai Continues Dream Run In IPL 2025

Opening the innings alongside captain Shubman Gill, Sudharsan played with positive intent from the start, mixing elegance with controlled aggression. His knock of 56 runs from 37 balls, which included 7 fours and 1 six, set the tone for Gujarat's innings and helped the team cross the 120-run mark within 13 overs.

He played second fiddle during the brisk 120-run opening partnership with Gill, who also scored a well-paced 60 off 38 balls. While Gill attacked the bowlers early on, Sudharsan rotated the strike smartly and found boundaries at key moments.

Sai Sudharsan’s knock against LSG marks his fourth 50-plus score in six matches this IPL. His recent scores, 56 (vs LSG), 82 (vs RR), 5 (vs SRH), 63 (vs MI), and 74 (vs PBKS), highlight a dream run for the left-hander this season. His ability to adapt and score runs in different conditions has made him a key figure in GT’s batting line-up.

Gujarat Gets A Solid Start!!

After Gujarat built momentum, Ravi Bishnoi came in as their nightmare. The pair were dismissed in quick succession and Gujarat lost some momentum. 

Ravi Bishnoi struck twice, removing both Sudharsan and Washington Sundar in back-to-back overs, as LSG managed to pull things back slightly. Jos Buttler and Sherfane Rutherford are now at the crease, looking to rebuild and guide GT to a big finish in the death overs.
