MI-W vs DC-W: Captains' Thoughts
Meg Lanning(Delhi Capitals Women Captain) - " We are going to have a bowl tonight. It seems like a good wicket and it's a good opportunity for us to see what it does early on. We need to keep improving and it's about putting our best effort out on the park. Things have worked well for us. Good cricketing shots will have value on this surface and from the bowling perspective it's about taking wickets early on. Hopefully we will be able to do that. We have had to effect some changes due to the sickness that has effected some of the players. Sarah Bryce will be in the line-up.
Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians Women Captain): Harmanpreet Kaur (Mumbai Indians Women Captain): "I would have bowled as well. Last game, we saw the ball was coming nicely on the bat. 200 runs were scored. Hopefully, we will bat, the way we want to.
The last season, we tried to play fearless cricket. We will try that this season as well. Just want to keep doing the right things again and again, we want to repeat the same things this year.
It is important. We didn't want to try anything new, we got a bit of success in the first season, we did everything right. We want to go with the same momentum, we don't want to try anything new. We have a debutant today, she is someone who is bringing a lot of balance to the side. We want to play good cricket so that the fans can enjoy.
