In the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 match between India and Pakistan at the Dubai International Stadium, the Men in Blue are ahead in the match and cruising towards their second win in the tournament. A lot of pressure mounted on the Indian players as the internet was filled with '#BoycottAsiaCup' trends. The fans were upset with the BCCI for allowing Team India to lock horns against Pakistan despite their recent role in the terror attack in Kashmir.
National Anthem Blunder Takes Over Internet
Nonetheless, the two teams squared off, but Team India maintained a diplomatic boycott, where Suryakumar Yadav refused to shake hands with Salman Ali Agha during the toss.
Meanwhile, a massive blunder, rather a goof up, occurred right before Pakistan's national anthem was to be played. As the players geared up for the anthem and the entire crowd was on their feet, the DJ, mistakenly, played the Bollywood song 'Jalebi Baby'. The players were taken aback by the mistake, but the DJ quickly rectified his mistake and played Pakistan's National Anthem.

Despite agreeing to play against Pakistan because the Asia Cup is a multi-nation tournament, they made sure to respect the emotions of fans and didn't engage in any sort of banter or conversation.
Team India have taken this match as a professional commitment, and the Suryakumar Yadav-led side have done well in its debut game against Pakistan as captain.
