The 26th match of the Maharaja T20 League will be played between Shivamogga Lions and Hubli Tigers on Friday, August 25 at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

With eight matches played in the tournament, the Shivamogga Lions have clinched victory in four of them, while losing as many games. They currently hold the second last spot on the points table with eight points to their name. 

Following a 15-run defeat against the Mangalore Dragons, they are keen on making a resilient comeback, considering the high-stakes battle for the playoffs. 

Abhinav Manohar and Rohan Kadam are the ones carrying the baton for them in the tournament, while Pranav Bhatia, Nischith Rao, and Aditya Somanna have been knocking down the wickets. 

Hubli Tigers 

On the other hand, Hubli Tigers have already booked their place in the playoffs, making them the first team to do so in the tournament. They have clinched victory in six out of eight matches played so far, while losing just two games.

Although they stumbled in their previous encounter against Gulbarga Mystics, losing the game by seven wickets, the Manish Pandey-led side must be eager to make an astounding comeback in this upcoming match.
