The first semi-final match of the Maharaja T20 League will be played between Hubli Tigers and Shivamogga Lions on Monday, August 28, at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Hubli Tigers 

Hubli Tigers totally dominated the season and ended the league stage as leaders on the points table with eight wins out of 10 matches and only two losses. Their sails are full of wind from a five-wicket victory over Mangalore Dragons in the last game, setting them up with great momentum for this match.

When it comes to players, their squad is packed with game-changers. Speaking of batting, Mohammed Taha, Luvnith Sisodia, KL Shrijith, and the skipper Manish Pandey himself are leading the charge in run-scoring. As for the bowling lineup, Manvanth Kumar and Praveen Dubey are racking up the most wickets. 

Shivamogga Lions 

Shivamogga Lions, on the other hand, hustled their way into the top four by clinching a victory in their final league stage match against Bengaluru Blasters, edging them out by a mere 11 runs. With a total of five wins from their ten games, they secured the fourth spot in the league stage rankings. 

Captain Shreyas Gopal, Rohan Kadam, and Abhinav Manohar have been piling on the runs for the team, and they must be eager to ride that momentum into this game. All in all, an exciting T20 contest beckons at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Monday.
