The 44th match between KKR and PBKS has come to an abrupt end, as rain arrived at the end of the first over of the second innings. It was famous Kalboishakhi winds that caused the disruption, and with rain not showing any signs of relenting, the match has been finally called off.

The abandonment of the game due to rain has forced both teams to share a point, and now Punjab Kings have moved to the number four position with 11 points. KKR, on the other hand, remain at the seventh position and now have seven points in nine matches.
