While their batters have struggled badly against spin bowling, their bowling unit has been toothless in the slog overs on both occasions. So, considering that LSG have a formidable spin attack and a ruthless finishing department, the hosts must assess and resolve their grey areas ahead of this face-off.

On the other hand, Lucknow Super Giants have been clinical, with both bat and ball, in the tournament so far. However, they bounced back remarkably, recording a thumping five-wicket win over SRH in their third group-stage fixture on home soil.
Almost everything, starting from Kyle Mayers' batting form to Ravi Bishnoi's brilliance with the ball, has fallen in place for the Super Giants. However, Deepak Hooda and Marcus Stoinis, who were their mainstays with the bat last season, have been underwhelming, managing only 26 and 43 runs, respectively
