Rain stops the play in Canberra [Source: @StarSportsIndia/X.com]
On Day 2 of the much-awaited warm-up match between India and the Prime Minister's XI Manuka Oval in Canberra, rain once again interrupted the play. After winning the toss, India chose to bowl first.
Mohammed Siraj, who started with the new ball for India, got an early breakthrough by dismissing Matt Renshaw for just 5 runs off 20 balls. But just as the action got underway, the rain arrived and halted the game. The ground staff quickly rolled out the covers, and the sky over Manuka Oval turned dark.
This warm-up match was supposed to help both teams prepare for the important Pink-Ball Test in Adelaide, but the weather has caused disruptions. Day 1 of the match was a complete washout due to heavy rain, and now Day 2 has also been affected.
