In a significant development, Pakistan A have won the toss and elected to bowl first against India A in the 6th match of the Asia Cup 2025 Rising Stars 2025. The match is currently played at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium, Doha on November 16.
Meanwhile, India A make no changes to their playing XI as Jitesh Sharma and his men are invited to bat first. Notably, all eyes will once again be on 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, especially after his remarkable 32-ball hundred against the UAE.
On the other hand, Pakistan A arrive with confidence after a narrow 40-run win over Oman. However, they have made two changes to their lineup, as Shahid Aziz and Sufiyan Muqeem replace Mohammad Salman and Mubasir Khan.
Talking about the pitch, Salman Butt and Maninder Singh described the surface as excellent for batting.
"This surface looks really good for the batters. It has been a kind of a norm in T20 cricket to chase if you win the toss. This surface will assist the seamers a little bit. The spinners need to be brave in order to flight the ball and look for turn. The batters will enjoy once again. I am expecting a score above 180 from India A,” according to Salman Butt and Maninder Singh.
