The two piled on the pressure, notching up their second consecutive 100-run stand in the series. West Indies’ bowlers had no answers, as Matthews’ field placements and bowling changes couldn’t halt the momentum.

The partnership finally ended at 110 runs, with Mandhana run out after a well-made 53. On the other hand, Rawal was on fire. She hit 76 runs and looked set for her first ODI ton, but it wasn’t to be.

Chasing a massive 359, the Windies Women needed a flying start, but India’s bowlers had other plans. Qiana Joseph fell early, and debutant Nerissa Crafton looked promising but couldn’t convert her start.
