INDW vs SLW: Pitch Report

Pitch Report by Isobel Joyce: "Throughout the tournament the boundaries are 59m all around. There is a cloud cover and we have had a light rain as well. It should blow away because there is a lot of wind. It is a really good batting surface.

India and Sri Lanka together have scored over 1000 runs. Sri Lanka need to bowl well because any width will go to the boundary. I am hoping for a high scoring game. I am hoping for if India put anything over 160, they should come out on top."

INDW vs SLW: Captain's Thoughts

Harmanpreet Kaur (India Women Captain): "We are going to bat first. Both the semis played on this pitch that is the reason we are going to bat first. No, not really. We worked hard and that's why it is looking like a big batting line-up. They are a good side but at the same time, we are just thinking of what we need to do.

Chamari Athapaththu (Sri Lanka Women Captain): "Yeah, definitely! If we had won the toss, we would have bowled first. Confident with our bowling group. We need to improve our fielding. Hopefully, our batters do well. My elbow is 80 percent okay. One change for us. Sachini Nisansala"
