Matthew Wade, leading Australia in the 5th T20I against India, won the toss and elected to field first. This decision puts Suryakumar Yadav and the Indian team on the batting front once again. Wade's strategic choice hinted at a desire to exploit potential pitch conditions and set a challenging target for the opposition.

As the teams geared up for another intense clash, the toss outcome added an intriguing dimension, promising a captivating contest where India's batting prowess would be put to the test against Australia's bowling might.

Captain's Thoughts

Suryakumar Yadav (India Captain): "We would have loved to bowl first but as long as we are losing the toss and winning the game, we don't mind batting first. I've told them the same thing, don't change anything. Do everything what you've been doing. You have another opportunity, another challenge to play another international game in front of such amazing crowd, just go out and enjoy. The way the batting unit has delivered, I think I'm just enjoying their batting and just told them believe in yourself and do whatever you feel right in that moment. Just execute. There's only 1 change. Arshdeep comes back for Deepak Chahar. He's flown back home for a medical emergency."

Matthew Wade (Australia Captain): "We are gonna bowl first again. There is a of weather around and the wicket looks a bit tacky as well. And here we go again. The boys are getting one more opportunity. One change. Nathan Ellis comes in Chris Green. Exciting times for the young players after the senior players are flown back home after a successful World Cup campaign. It's time to justify the selection and increase the headache of the selectors. Yes, we have one change. Chris Green is out, and Nathan Ellis comes in. It's good to have some stability in the XI."
