MI have registered their third win on the trot in IPL 2023 as they registered an impressive 14-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad to strengthen their position on the points table. Cameron Green was one of the main reasons for MI's win with his impressive overs but plenty of other players contributed as well. One of them was Arjun Tendulkar.

The young boy, son of the legendary Sachin Tendulkar bowled the final over with SRH needing 20 runs from the final over. They had two wickets in the hand as well but Arjun Tendulkar delivered wide yorkers with great perfection right throughout the over and only gave five runs in the over. He also took his maiden IPL wicket in the penultimate ball of the game to seal the match for his side showing tremendous temperament and skills under pressure.

Arjun Tendulkar got pretty emotional after the game and talked about his plans and mindset after the game. He said that it feels great to get first IPL wicket and he just foucused on his plan and executed it. He added that his plan was just to bowl wide and make the batter hit on the longer side.

"It was great getting my first IPL wicket. I focused on my plan and it was executed. Our plan was just to bowl wide and get the batter to hit in the longer side,"

The junior Tendulkar also mentioned that he loves bowling and is happy to bowl anytime his captain asks him to. He also went onto talk about his rapport with his father and said we talk about cricket and discuss tactics before the game. He also added that Sachin Tendulkar asks him to back himself what he practises.

"I love bowling, I am happy to bowl anytime the captain asks me to. I want to stick to the team plan and give my best.  We (Sachin Tendulkar and him) talk about cricket, we discuss tactics before the game and he tells me to back what I practise every game,"

Talking about his bowling, Tendulkar said that he focuses on his release and bowling good lines and lengths. He also mentioned that if it swings he considers it as a bonus and it does not matter much even if it doesn't.

"I just focused on my release and bowling good lines and lengths. If it swings its a bonus, if it doesn't so be it."

Mumbai Indians will now play their next game against Punjab Kings at their home turf, Wankhede Stadium on 22nd of April.
