On Friday, September 19, India locked horns against Oman in their third and final group-stage match of Asia Cup 2025. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side won the toss and opted to bat first for the first time in this tournament. India went ahead with two changes as Harshit Rana and Arshdeep Singh replaces Jasprit Bumrah and Varun Chakaravarthy.
A funny incident occurred during the toss as Suryakumar Yadav did a Rohit Sharma and forgot about team changes. When asked about the team changes, SKY remembered bringing in Harshit Rana for Varun Chakaravarty, but when asked about the second change, he forgot and laughed about his error.

SKY himself acknowledged that he did a Rohit, which draw a big laughter from the audience. Later, Shastri urged Surya to refer to Morne Morkel for the team change, but the India captain still failed to recall the second change. The moment quickly went viral on the internet.
"Harshit Rana comes in and one more change, I've become like Rohit. [forgetting the other change," remarked Surya during the toss.
Rohit's Habit Of Forgetting Stuff Highlighted Again
It is worth noting that Suryakumar Yadav referred to Rohit Sharma, because the India ODI captain has made a name for himself for forgetting important items. Several India stars have often pointed out Rohit's habit of forgetting things.
Further, Rohit has made similar blunders at the toss previously, to an extend where the hitman also forgot whether to bat first or bowl first. Not once, but on multiple occasions, Rohit forgot about team changes, leading to now viral memes.
