Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) wrist spinner Digvesh Rathi has once again made headlines with his now-famous "notebook celebration," this time adding a twist that has sparked conversation. The 25-year-old Delhi cricketer, who faced penalties earlier for his controversial celebration, defied the sanctions and repeated the gesture in the ongoing match against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Tuesday, April 8, at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

LSG Wrist Spinner Ignites Controversy Again with Signature Celebration

Digvesh Rathi, who had first made waves with the notebook celebration after dismissing fellow Delhi cricketer Priyansh Arya during a match against PBKS, had already faced a fine and a demerit point following his actions. His second incident against MI, where he again showcased the celebration after dismissing Naman Dhir, led to a more severe penalty of 50% reduction in his match fee and two demerit points.

The wrist spinner's defiance continued in the match against KKR. After dismissing his idol, Sunil Narine, Rathi made his bold move once again-this time, adding a new flair to his notebook celebration. Instead of merely mimicking the act of writing on the air, Rathi performed an elaborate gesture of scribbling something on the ground.
