In an encouraging news for England women's team, regular skipper Heather Knight who was dealing with hip injury has returned to lead her side in the limited over series against the West Indies starting on 4th of December.
The three-match ODI and five-match T20I series will also feature Nat Sciver who was out due to mental issues. Pacer Katherine Brunt also makes a comeback after being rested along with Lauren Winfield-Hill in the T20I squad as a reward for her good performances.
England's newly appointed coach Jon Lewis expressed his delight after having the trio back for the series.
“It’s great to have Heather, Nat and Katherine back in the group. The quality and experience they bring can only add huge value both on and off the field. We will manage Katherine back into competitive cricket with an eye on the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in February."
