Jos Buttler is one such batter in T20 format whom you don't want to give a second chance and Vaibhav Arora, the KKR bowler did exactly that as he spilled a simple catch and allowed Buttler to get away easily at a crucial juncture of the match between GT and KKR at Eden Gardens.

Harshit Rana gets frustrated

In the 15th over of the match when GT were looking for a move, Harshit Rana, the KKR bowler delivered a length ball on the off stump and Buttler miscued his big heave as the ball took a leap in the air. Vaibhav Arora, standing at mid-off has all the time to track back and take the catch, but he spills it at the last second.

Worse, it crossed the boundary ropes as four extra runs were added. This frustrated Harshit Rana who had outfoxed the batter and could have dismissed GT's danger man. The dropped catch proved to be costly as Buttler looked in ominous touch and took the KKR bowling apart.

Gill eyes hundred as GT aim huge total

Shubman Gill eyes yet another IPL hundred as he is batting at 80 and needs 20 more runs to slam his 5th IPL century. Alongside his fellow opener, Sai Sudharsan, Gill took the attack to the KKR bowlers and made a mockery of their attack.

He started slowly but then picked up pace as he breached the 50-run mark. At the moment, GT are 172/1 inside 18 overs.
