IND-W Vs WI-W: Pitch Report
Pitch Report by WV Raman: "The conditions at the BCA stadium are fantastic. The outfield is big, good and lush green. The weather is barmy and the pitch looks good as well. The longest boundary is 69 metres long. Square boundaries are 59 metres, behind square the boundary is 52 metres long. It looks well rolled, hard with some grass on it. Its a black soiled pitch, it will hold together and produce batters some nice opportunity to get some runs. The ball will come on nicely to the bat. We can expect a tall scoring game."
IND-W Vs WI-W: Captain's Thoughts
Hayley Matthews (West Indies Women Captain): "We are going to have a bowl first today again. I just feel it's a good opportunity obviously being a new venue and assess the conditions. Yeah we got in day before yesterday, we had a good amount of time in the nets and it's a lovely ground to be honest.Yeah I think we are prepared pretty well. We know the upcoming matches are pretty important, we want to win a few in order to climb up the table. Yeah we have got Shamilia Connell coming in for us which adds some bowling into our attack and we have got Rashada Williams coming in at the top of the order."
