Toronto Nationals

After a strong start with a nine-run victory over the Vancouver Knights, the Toronto Nationals couldn't maintain their momentum and suffered two consecutive losses. As of now, they are positioned second from the bottom on the points table, having accumulated just two points. 

Following a tough 20-run loss against the Surrey Jaguars, they find themselves with their backs against the wall. The only way to revive their playoff hopes is by winning all their remaining games.


Mississauga Panthers 

It's been a disastrous beginning for the Mississauga Panthers in the tournament. They have suffered defeats in all three matches, finding themselves at the bottom of the points table. 

They started with a 44-run defeat against Brampton Wolves in a rain-shortened game. Their struggles continued in the next two matches against Vancouver Knights and Montreal Tigers, losing by four and seven wickets, respectively. 

Moreover, in a tournament of such a limited duration, suffering three consecutive losses is a severe blow for any team. The Panthers find themselves in a tough spot as their chances of qualifying for the playoffs have dwindled. They now face a must-win situation in the remaining match to keep their hopes alive.
