After conceding an embarrassing whitewash to South Africa in the Test series, India made a remarkable comeback in the ODIs, thrashing the visitors by 2-1. The Men in Blue are gearing up for the T20I series that will also witness the return of Shubman Gill to competitive cricket.

Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has slammed four hundreds in T20 Internationals. If he manages one century in the upcoming T20I series against South Africa, Surya will equal Rohit Sharma's tally of five hundreds in the shortest format. 

Abhishek can go past Yuvraj on most fifties list

Swashbuckling left-handed batter Abhishek Sharma has already hammered six half-centuries in T20I cricket. The explosive opener needs only three fifties to go past his idol, Yuvraj Singh, on the list of Indian batters with the most half-centuries in the format. 

Hardik Pandya nears twin T20I milestones

Ace cricketer Hardik Pandya has been a force to reckon with the bat and ball for India in T20Is. The experienced campaigner has 1860 runs under his belt, besides scalping 98 wickets in the format. So, if he slams 140 runs and bags two wickets, Pandya will attain a rare double of 2000 runs and 100 scalps in T20I cricket. 

Shubman Gill on the verge of entering 1000-run club

India's vice-captain Shubman Gill has struck 837 runs across 33 T20I innings. As the Punjab batter gears up to cement his place in the side with an impactful performance against South Africa, Gill needs only 163 runs to become the 13th Indian batter to complete 1000 runs in the format. 

Bumrah on the cusp of 100 T20I wickets

Legendary pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been a phenomenal performer for India in T20 Internationals. The ace speedster has bagged 99 wickets, and if he takes one more wicket against South Africa, Bumrah will become the second Indian bowler after Arshdeep Singh to enter the 100-wicket club in T20Is.
