Sri Lanka prepare to face-off against heavy-weights Australia in the upcoming second Test match at the Galle International Cricket Stadium on Thursday, 6 February. The match will commence at 10 AM IST.

Down and defeated Sri Lanka would hope to bounce back stronger and return to their original selves at their home, a place where they have dominated historically. Australia, on the other hand, would be hoping to replicate the same magic of the first Test and once again knock their bats off in the highly awaited clash.

Rain Likely To Hamper Play At Galle 

According to Accuweather predictions, the weather conditions for the upcoming match at Galle International Cricket Stadium do not look too promising as there are strong indications of precipitation and thunderstorm in the initial leg. Occasional showers in the afternoon have also been predicted in the weather report.

While the remaining three days have a clear weather prediction, there is a significant prediction of rain that could cause delays and interruptions during the start of the second Test match between Australia and Sri Lanka.

Looking at the weather predictions for the first day of the Test match, it is expected to partly sunny with a shower during the afternoon. The temperature will remain 34° C with a RealFeel of 39° C. The winds will be coming in from. the South-South-Easy region at 11 km/hr with wind gusts upto 24 km/hr.

There is a 58% prediction of rain and a 12% chance of thunderstorms hovering over the city of Galle. There is also a moderate cloud cover of 39%. Fans must prepare themselves as they could experience certain halts.
