The 2022-23 edition of New Zealand's Premier List-A competition, Ford Trophy will kick off on Tuesday (November 22) and run till February 19. 

 A total of nine venues, Wellington, Auckland, Dunedin, Hamilton, Palmerston, New Plymouth, Christchurch, Queenstown and Napier have been shortlisted to host this edition. 

The last edition of the Ford Trophy witnessed Auckland securing a title victory by beating Central Districts. 

Almost all the players are coming into the tournament with a proper hit in the Plunket Shield, the domestic red-ball series. It will be interesting to see how the players fare in this format. 

The Live Streaming of the Ford Trophy can be watched on the New Zealand Cricket's YouTube Channel. All the matches will commence at 3:30 AM IST. 

Players to watch Out

Tom Latham- He has been one of the finest all-format batters in New Zealand. He slammed 361 runs in five innings of Plunket Shield 2022/23.

Rachin Ravindra- the talented all-rounder garnered 272 runs and picked eight wickets in Plunket Shield and has been in good form.

Cole McConchie- He is currently the top-scorer in the Plunket Shield with 452 runs in five appearances.

Matt Henry- Matt has scalped 23 wickets in three games of Plunket Shield.

Doug Bracewell- The experienced campaigner accumulated 175 runs and picked 20 wickets in the red-ball format.
