New Zealand are ready to host England for a six-match white-ball series, which includes three T20Is and three ODIs. The action begins on October 18 (Friday) with the first T20I at Hagley Oval in Christchurch. The two teams last met in a T20I back in September 2023.

Led by Mitchell Santner, New Zealand have shown strong form in T20 cricket this year, beating Pakistan 4-1 and staying unbeaten in a tri-series with Zimbabwe and South Africa. However, they recently lost 2-0 to Australia and will be missing key players like Finn Allen, Will O’Rourke, Glenn Phillips, and Lockie Ferguson due to injuries.

England, on the other hand, have played aggressive cricket recently, winning series against West Indies and Ireland and drawing 1-1 with South Africa. With their playing XI already announced, Harry Brook's England will look to continue their aggressive style in the series.

England’s 2025 tour of New Zealand will be played across several stadiums.

• The first and second T20 matches will both be played at Hagley Oval in Christchurch.
• The third T20 will take place at Eden Park in Auckland.

After that, the teams will move on to the One Day Internationals (ODIs):

• The first ODI will be held on October 26 at Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
• The second ODI will be played at Seddon Park in Hamilton.
• The third ODI will take place at Sky Stadium in Wellington.
