Desperate Shreyas Iyer Makes Huge Blunder; Wastes DRS To Dismiss Virat Kohli

Normally, Shreyas Iyer is brilliant when it comes to DRS calls and often makes the riht choices, however, in the clash between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, the PBKS captain made a huge blunder and wasted a review on Virat Kohli with a not so wise DRS call.

Iyer wastes DRS on Kohli

The Royal Challengers needed a tricky 158 runs to take revenge and beat the Punjab Kings. However, for that, they needed to get the wicket of the dangerous Virat Kohli who is supreme in such a run-chase. However, in a desperate move to dismiss the star batter, Iyer wasted a DRS review.

Xavier Bartlett bowled a good length ball on the middle and leg and the ball was going down the leg as it clipped Virat Kohli's pad. In a move to dismiss him, Iyer took the DRS and the replays showed that the delivery was never hitting the stumps as PBKS wasted a review.

Kohli, however, brushed it off and gave a quick-fire start as he and RCB look to chase down the total with ease.

RCB moving towards the target with ease

The RCB bowlers were at their absolute best as they delivered the goods and never allowed Punjab batters to move at a rapid pace.

Despite a solid start by their openers, Punjab lost wickets in regular intervals and were restricted to a mere 157/6. At the moment, RCB are moving swiftly towards the target with Kohli batting at 34 off 23 and Devdutt Padikkal unbeaten at 32.
