In the ongoing IPL 2025 qualifier 2 between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings at the Narendra Modi Stadium, a controversy erupted in the 8th over of the second innings after Josh Inglis was not impressed with on-field decisions.
Notably, on the 4th ball of the 8th over, Pandya bowled a bouncer that took the faintest of the edge and Jonny Bairstow made no mistake with the glove. Both the bowler and keeper appealed for it and the umpire raised his finger. Inglis immediately opted for a review, but the replay showed a spike in ultra-edge.
