Chris Green, the 30-year-old all-rounder, is all set to make his debut for Australia on Friday (December 1) in the fourth T20I of the five-match series in India, taking place at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur.

Tim David, Australia's hard-hitting all-rounder, gave Green the cap before their must-win match in Raipur.

Green is one of the regulars in Australia’s domestic circuit, particularly in T20s. In this format, he has already played 190 matches, in which he has taken 159 wickets at an impressive economy rate of 6.98, and also tallied 1168 runs.

Barring bringing in Green, Australia made four changes in their playing XI, confirmed by Matthew Wade at the toss. Two Bens—McDermott and Dwarshuis—have come in for Marcus Stoinis and Glenn Maxwell, whereas Jhye Richardson and Josh Phillipe have made the cut to replace Kane Richardson and Josh Inglis. Meanwhile, Green comes in for Nathan Ellis.

After winning the toss, Wade decided to have a bowl against the Men in Blue, who have also made wholesale changes in their playing XI. Shreyas Iyer is back in action, and so is Deepak Chahar and Mukesh Kumar, whereas Jitesh Sharma has returned to the mix as well.
