Promising all-rounder Cameron Green achieved a remarkable feat as he registered the second-fastest century for Australia in ODI cricket. The cricketer attained the phenomenal milestone in the ongoing encounter against South Africa at the Great Barrier Reef Arena in Mackay.

After winning the toss and electing to bat first, Australia were off to a flying start, courtesy of the batting masterclass from Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh. As the swashbuckling batters departed after scoring their respective centuries and recording Australia's highest opening stand against South Africa in ODIs, Cameron Green capitalised on the platform, ensuring a fitting finish for his side. 

The batter brought up a scintillating century in just 47 balls, recording the second-quickest ton for Australia in ODI cricket.

Riding on sensational centuries from Travis Head, Mitchell Marsh and Cameron Green, Australia posted a massive total of 431 runs in the third ODI against South Africa. Alex Carey also contributed handy 50 runs to the total, with the hosts recording their second highest total in ODI history.
