Fortune Barishal registered a huge nine-wicket victory over Dhaka Capitals in match number 26 to extend its winning streak this BPL 2024-25 season. Turning up at the iconic Sher-e Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur, the Barishal franchise has now registered six wins in a row.

Chasing 74, Fortune Barishal openers Tamim Iqbal and Towhid Hridoy raced to 21-0 in just the first two overs of the innings. Hridoy himself carted two huge sixes to start off the run-chase to reach 15 from just eight balls.
However, the blistering right-handed opener had his confident start halted by senior Dhaka Capitals fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman in the third over of the innings.

The former English cricketer made 37* from just 16 balls as the Fortune Barishal sealed the deal with a huge nine-wicket victory in just 6.3 overs.
